Anyone with a home office and a minimum quantity of customer support experience can get hired. Finding a legitimate work from your house customer support job, or any valid telecommuting job for that matter, can seem as a job in itself. Do you know these jobs concealing? With regards to work at home positions, most on-line occupation boards are jam packed with deceptive job offers, business opportunities, etc. The most common bait and switch trick you may notice is companies posting ads for what seems like a valid job offer which really turns out for a Company opportunity in disguise that will often end up costing you everywhere from $50 to $500 should you decide to join.

I only wish to clarify that there is a vast difference between a job at home business opportunities and a work from your house customer support job. Business opportunities ask that you buy a little business, or system, and after that use the info to basically start and operate your own business, which isn't as simple as it might sound. A work from your house customer support job, and on the other hand, is similar to a normal call centre job in the feeling that you have also a supervisor, also a schedule, plus a guaranteed pay. The main difference is you are able to work from home office anyplace within the country.

Tinder will warn users when they travel to countries where LGBTQ relationships are punishable by law Tinder is planning an update for this week that’ll warn its LGBTQ users when they’re traveling in a country where their dating preferences could put them at legal risk. Called “Traveler Alert,” the feature will automatically hide users’ profiles when they’re traveling abroad in countries where same-sex relationships are illegal. Users can then choose whether they want to stay hidden. If they decide to have a public profile, their sexual orientation or gender identity will be removed for the time being to protect them against law enforcement or individuals who might target them. The alert will only show up if people are on the ground in these countries or if they’re using...

Microsoft and Sony are announcing an unusual partnership today, allowing the two rivals to partner on cloud-based gaming services. “The two companies will explore joint development of future cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure to support their respective game and content-streaming services,” Microsoft said in a statement. Sony’s existing game and content-streaming services will also be powered by Microsoft Azure in the future. Microsoft says “these efforts will also include building better development platforms for the content creator community,” which sounds like both Sony and Microsoft are planning to partner on future services aimed at creators and the gaming community. Both companies say they will “share additional information when available,” but the partnership means...

When the brand "Nokia" is mentioned, most of us immediately think "phone." This is pretty much what it is known for. However, it looks like the company is branching out — or, at least, it's licensing its name to third-party retailers to branch out for it. As reported by Gadgets 360, Indian company Flipkart has been granted the use of the Nokia brand for its smart TVs — "a global first for the brand in the TV category," according to Flipkart itself, which is a major e-commerce retailer in the country. Vipul Mehrotra, Flipkart's VP of Nokia brand partnerships, adds, "Flipkart's understanding of the needs and behaviors of Indian consumers, and the power of its reach, will help it make Nokia branded smart TVs accessible and affordable." If the TV is all that he says, then this could be a...

Get to know Halle Bailey, new Little Mermaid

Published by:

We live in a time where almost every new musical prodigy has formed an identity on YouTube long before they break through to mainstream Hollywood. Halle Bailey, the new face of Disney’s Little Mermaid, is a perfect example. Disney announced on Wednesday that Bailey, currently 19-years-old, would play Princess Ariel in the company’s upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid. She began making a name for herself as an actress on ABC’s Grownish, a spinoff of its popular series, Blackish that premiered in 2018, but she developed an even bigger fanbase far before that on YouTube. Halle, alongside her older sister Chloe, have amassed more than one million subscribers on YouTube thanks to their astonishing covers of songs from artists like Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé...

Apple's newest top-of-the-line display, the Pro Display XDR, is out today. And it doesn't come cheap, starting at $4,999, with a matte "nano texture" upgrade for a mere $1,000. If you buy that nano texture upgrade, though, and you ever allow a speck of dust to grace it, don't you dare think about cleaning it with some water and a microfiber cloth. Instead, an Apple support document says you should only clean that nano-texture glass with a special "dry polishing cloth" that comes with the display, and nothing else (via MacRumors). Apple hasn't said why nano-texture Pro Display XDR owners must use its specific cloth over another screen cleaner (we've asked), but it's likely due to how the display is made. "Nano-texture" glass is Apple's term for its nonreflective, matte texture option....

First it was a coffee cup, now it’s a bottle of water. Poor Game of Thrones just can’t catch a break. Just a couple of weeks after some eagle-eyed fans discovered a forgotten coffee cup in a Game of Thrones scene, a couple of misplaced water bottles have appeared. The bottles, seen in screenshots below, pop up a few times over the course of several minutes. The first time is at 46:19 on HBO Now, and then a few minutes later. One is tucked just behind Samwell Tarly’s foot in the photo below. Another water bottle can be seen just behind Ser Davos’ chair, in-between him and Gendry. It’s understandable that long, strenuous meetings about the future of Westeros would leave anyone a little parched, but people clearly forgot to throw the bottles off camera once the director yelled...

On Saturday, Airbnb CEO and cofounder Brian Chesky tweeted that the company would be banning "party houses" after five people died in a shooting during a 100-plus person Halloween party at an Airbnb rental in Orinda, California. Chesky outlines the steps Airbnb is taking in the same Twitter thread, including creating a rapid response team for "party houses", presumably to help homeowners prevent dangerous parties. Chesky did not explain what a "party house" is in the thread. Airbnb spokesperson Ben Breit defined "party houses" as rentals which repeatedly disturb neighbors, according to The Washington Post, but said that any specific standards have yet to be determined. Airbnb claims it already uses an automated risk detection system that uses "predictive analytics and machine learning to...
